About the film
Crimea, 1962. General Serov returns to his dacha near Sevastopol with a new personal driver, the young sergeant Viktor, who quickly wins over the household staff — all except the general's daughter Vera, temperamental and openly hostile toward him. As Cold War tensions sharpen around them, Viktor finds himself at the centre of events at the general's residence that are far larger than they first appear. Released in Russian as Водитель для Веры.
